Question 1

What is Great Big Game Show?

Accepted Answer

Great Big Game Show is a live, hosted game show experience at Westfield Topanga, Topanga's premier mixed-use entertainment and dining district. Teams go head-to-head in rotating mini-games on a real game show set with a live host, studio lights, and full production energy.

Question 2

Will it be like the TV game shows I’ve seen on TV?

Accepted Answer

Sort of, but with our own twist! Many of our challenges are inspired by classic game show moments like spinning a giant wheel, slamming buzzers, and tackling 60-second lightning rounds. However, Great Big Game Show is completely original, packed with mini-games you’ve never seen before!

Question 3

Can I bring food/drinks?

Accepted Answer

Our game shows are fully immersive and hands-on, so food isn’t allowed in the studios. Non-alcoholic drinks are welcome, though! For nearby food and drink options our crew can help make recommendations to match your group’s taste.

Question 4

What if I’m not good at trivia?

Accepted Answer

We mix it up with a variety of mini-games (some are group activities, others are 1-on-1 challenges) so it’s definitely not all trivia! Our questions are general knowledge, meaning you’ll know plenty, miss a few and have a ton of fun! With 17+ rotating games, the entertainment is built in, whether you’re a trivia pro or just here for an exciting time.

Question 5

Is there an age limit?

Accepted Answer

No, we tailor every game’s difficulty to the ages of the participants! However, we do recommend our games for ages 6 and up. A paying guardian (18+) must participate with anyone 14 or younger, and anyone under 18 will need an adult to sign their waiver.

Children ages 4 and under are welcome to tag along free of charge, just give us a call before booking so we can save their spot, as each game has a maximum player capacity.

Question 6

How many people can I bring?

Accepted Answer

You only need two players to launch into an epic game show! Our studios host 2–14 contestants. Planning a kid’s birthday party, date night, team-building event, bachelorette/bachelor party, family outing or another special celebration? No problem! We’ll split you into equal teams across multiple studios for twice the excitement. Call us and we’ll lock in your ultimate game show experience!

Question 7

Will my group be playing with others?

Accepted Answer

Possibly! All of our shows are shared experiences. Each studio can hold 2–14 contestants, so if your group doesn’t fill all available spots, other players may join your time slot. If no one else books in, we’ll split your group into teams so you can play head-to-head. Think of it just like a real game show: more contestants, more energy, and more fun!

Question 8

What do I win?

Accepted Answer

There’s no physical prize (yet)… but you will experience the thrill of being on a real-life game show! Celebrate in our epic Winners Circle Moment with a confetti-filled victory and all the glory. If you’re competitive, it’s time to put Great Big Game Show at the top of your itinerary.

Question 9

How long does the game last?

Accepted Answer

Your game will last approximately 60 minutes, packed with several rounds of fun, family-friendly games. The entire experience is about 75 minutes to include check-in and a pre-show briefing so you’re ready to hit the buzzer and go home a champion!

NOTE: Please arrive 15 minutes before your game time for check-in.

Question 10

Is it recorded?

Accepted Answer

As a gift for spending your time with us, we’ll capture a 30-second “Highlight Reel” of your game’s most exciting moments and send it to your party within 24–48 hours!

Question 11

Does Great Big Game Show have an event space available?

Accepted Answer

While we don’t currently have a dedicated event space for celebrations, we’d be happy to help keep the fun going! If you’re planning an event, our crew can help recommend nearby options to match your group’s needs.

Question 12

Is this a game show-themed escape room?

Accepted Answer

Great Big Game Show is a completely different experience: no puzzles or clues, just a immersive game show with studio lights, a real host, buzzers, and competitive mini-games.

It's made by The Escape Game, so if you haven't tried one of their escape rooms yet, Topanga is a great place to do both in one visit.
